Well I can't believe how long it's been since I have written. The days just pass by and nothing really exciting is going on. The weather is SPRING-ISH and the grass is getting greener by the day. The bush paths where I walk the dog have finally all dried up and that wonderful smell is in the air, the sort of hot and dry smell of the forest.
The job is fine...a lot of evening shifts, which I really like, but I'm not sure how that will work out during hockey season. I am hoping to have those 36 nights off, I mean, really, 36 nights isn't a lot considering it's for all of Sept, Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb and part of March is it???? I mean, sure, it's a lot of Fri and Sat nights, but still..... So this might be a concern for me. We DO like our hockey! I'll have to check into that soon since the season tickets have to be purchased by the end of May to get the big discount. That's only 4 weeks from now, and if I have to give 2 weeks notice....
So that is the big dilemma in my life right now, guess I should be thankful that my problems are so small.
I'll be heading to Victoria to visit my dad at the end of May. I'll be seeing Nicole too, so we can re-hash all our Africa adventures. The "bad" things (oh my God, that ferry ride to Zanzibar) will all seem hysterical and whimsical in hindsight, I'm sure.
