Geez Louise, I am so far behind in my blogging. It's been a busy summer ...I'll never catch up at this rate.
However, to continue: After the lousy day at the wildlife park we wanted to look for a place to camp that was right on the water and we lucked out with this spot: Sea Perch RV Park. You really need to check it out, it was phenomenal. There was about 10 feet of green grass between us and the water at high tide, and at night it sounded like the waves were going to roll right in through the door. In the morning the tide was low and we wandered through the tide pools, looking for starfish.

We were a few miles from the little town of Yachats, where we went to The Luna for dinner. I had a huge bowl of steamed clams, Mmm, mmm, just so tasty. The restaurant has been owned by the same family for decades, it's just tiny, 5 or 6 tables. The menu is very small, basically you get for dinner whatever the men caught that day.
