Part Walking through Old Havana

We had hired a local woman, Linoska, to take us around the city. She met us at 10 AM, with a car and driver and off we went! First stop was Habana Vieja, or Old Havana. It has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, and it is slooooowly being refurbished after more than 200 years of neglect. The area is filled with cobblestone streets, and since it is pedestrian only, you can wander along and gawk at the 16th century buildings without fear of being run over.
